Meet the Team...
With over 20 years of experience , Mark has established his own construction company in Southern California before co-founding Mon Atelier Moderne with his Interior Designer wife Vanessa. Mark is a seasoned pre construction consultant at Mon Atelier Moderne, with a remarkable background in the construction industry. He plays a crucial role in the initial stages of a construction or remodeling project. Before groundbreaking, he dives deep into every detail, offering his expertise to ensure that the project is well thought out, meticulously planned, and financial viable. Drawing upon his vast knowledge and experience, he takes immense pride in establishing strong relationships with clients, understanding their vision, and aligning it with reality. His network of industry professionals, ranging from architects and engineers to subcontractors and suppliers, enables him to put together a dream team for each project. Mark has solidified his position as a leader in the industry, trusted by clients and colleagues alike.

Founder and Interior Designer Vanessa, originally hailing from Europe, her journey led her to Southern California, with a highly regarded four-year interior desing degree with distinction from the Metropolitan University London, where she honed her skills and refined her unique design style. Her education and background has provided her with a strong foundation in many design styles and design principles, enabling her to create spaces that seamlessly blend functionality with exceptional beauty.
Her expertise extends beyond her keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail. She has a deep understanding of architectural design and is proficient in CAD (Computer Aided Design) software, allowing her to bring her creative visions to life through precise and accurate drawings. Vanessa believes that design should be a collaborative process, taking the time to truly listen to her clients' needs and desires. Her ability to understand her clients' vision and translate it into reality has garnered her a loyal following and numerous accolades within the industry.

OPEN SPACE
The owners of this home sought to retain the architecture but soften its formality. This was done through the clever use of stylish furnishings and the innovative use of form and color, which dramatically transformed the space.

In this space, a creative blend of lines and curves was layered into the existing structure and design, expertly showcasing the old while incorporating the new. The result is a place of balance and beauty, in harmony with its surroundings.
